MB7 Previews: Tuesday
It’s Group Day on Monkeyball TV. There’s always a few ballers from these groups that make some noise in the afternoon. And it’s also a good day to name-drop as many participants as possible. Will we mention yours? Also, don’t forget to Like Monkeyball on Facebook, Follow MB on Twitter and read about us in Country Lines magazine (page 15). Osters also writes about her opening round match against Dean.
The first draft of the OFFICIAL MB7 BRACKETS are available. The brackets will change a little bit Saturday morning based on who else shows up and who punks us by bailing at the last minute. Download these brackets and keep them handy while watching the videos throughout the week.
MB7 Previews: Sun | Mon | Tues | Wed | Thurs
GROUP A
Monkeyball TV spends its Tuesday talking about Groups A through D. Who are Andi and Andy’s Top 4? Who else might be in their verbal jab cross hairs?
GROUP B
GROUP C
GROUP D
INTERVIEW WITH DEAN ALLEN
The Commissioner catches up with the four-time champ before a recent round on links. Dean will no doubt be at the top of many prediction lists.
INTERVIEW WITH KEITH HAGEN
Hagen took the Monkeyball world by storm with a fourth place finish in his rookie season (MB5). He’s no stranger now, and comes into the tournament with the #9 world ranking.
INTERVIEW WITH DAN RENNER
This Worlds vet took a few minutes from saving the lives of East Lansing residents to talk a little Monkeyball. Renner has the game to advance deep into the tournament. Will this be his year?
Thanks for the love superballers. I left one guy off my clip that needs to be talked about, Dan Kidle. The guy has been dangerous since last year highlighted by a Mason finals run. I would like to remove Osters and move Dan into my final four prediction.
Good thing Dean is phenomenal at MB, because DAMN, that 5′ putt was not even close.
#9…you better fear me…but only because I have shrunk a couple inches since last year. Standing tall at about 5′ 4″ now!
I may petition to have you throw off of a step stool or small ladder.
#9: Good call on replacing Osters with Kidle. One correction, though: Dan made it to the Mason semis. Jim Wenzel defeated Matt Young in the championship. Also, I will provide the step stool.
thanks for the love Osters!! I will bring the A game just for you!
My only question is this…why is Hagen wearing a child’s small MB shirt?
If by child’s small you mean alpha male L custom fit with an amazing head of hair then…Yes, guilty as charged.
Renner, good pick going with Dean, just for clarafication ive won 4 times, I belive u said 3 in the video. Soon to be 5!
Thanks Hagen. Although I prefer to fly under the radar, since historically there has been an inverse relationship between pundits’ predictions and my actual success at Worlds.
However, I must note that your kind words will not save you if we meet on Saturday. Smart move planting rumors of skunking the 5-man – but rest assured, neither the rumors nor your skin tight t-shirt from babyGap will provide protection at the old orchard.
I am not sure how the target landed on my large well sculptured back but I welcome and almost need the heat coming my way. I now only play 6 man by the way.
Thanks for the shout out Commish…. Looking forward to Saturday, will try not to disappoint
