MB5 Video Review
While doing some cleaning, I came across some MB5 video footage Tommy Hedge sent to me months ago. I just happen to be doing a simple video project at work, so I thought “what the heck, let’s see if I can get some of this video online.” And so I put my meager editing skills to the test.
For whatever reason, my memories of MB5 are all smiles, laughter, beer and lots of Monkeyball. Sure, I remember it rained, but those aren’t my lasting images.
Then I watched the video. Geesh, it was nasty that day. Why did over 100 people show up? Why did you all stay? Why did we continue playing?
I think that’s why I have such fond memories of the event. There’s no reason we should have continued that day, but we did, and we did it with lots of smiles and laughter. And beer.
